Watercolour on Yupo Paper

Yupo paper is very different to work on than normal watercolour paper as the paint is not absorbed into the paper. This gives an opportunity to get other effects on the paper and to rework areas that haven't turned out well, although in my experience reworking a piece is not always a good idea as it can end up being completely ruined. Normal watercolour paper is notorious as to not coping with too much work on it as the paper tends to fray in the end resulting in a disaster. This does not happen with Yupo paper but now the challenge is to work on it without lifting what is already on the paper. These pieces of art are only A6 and yet they have so much detail on them for such a small size. The 2nd piece has embroidery sewn on it. Even though it it not obvious from the photos they all have metal leaf on them in different colours, according to what matches the artwork I've used silver, gold, copper, bronze and red leaf. On some of them I've drawn some lines to enhance the design.
